I'll Make this as to the point as i can, Please bare with me guys / gals.

1.6 Version xbox.
Modded with soft mod Mech assault. Run Linux Crack.

HDD swap is where it fell apart.

Spoke with a fellow modder that said all that should be required was Slayer 2.6 and unlocking the HD.

So I unlocked the Retail drive, Powered off the box and Added the 120gig. Kept Slayer in the rom, when it booted it gave me error 5, replaced the retail drive same error.

HELP PLEASE!!

I cannot even FTP to it.

I Coppied The retail after softmod via FTP to my PC. How do i restore it !!!

That fellow Modder is an IDIOT .

rule #1 with softmods:

NEVER UNLOCK THE HDD (softmods require the HDD to be locked in order to boot)

Did you use a game to softmod the xbox? do you have the eeprom.bin backed up?

I did use a game to Mod, Mech assault.

I Backed up the eeprom On the retail drive. Access with my PC?
