QUOTE(rahduke @ Mar 1 2007, 03:55 PM) *

I'm having a problem in IMGburn, I'm using a Write-master m182D DVD drive and Richoh dual layer discs... I burnt a couple discs without changing the layer break option and ended up with coasters.... After i changed the layer break sectors in L0 to 1913760 as per the guide i get this horrible error msg when i try to burn

Device IO Control (FSCTL_LOCK_VOLUME) Failed!
Device: [0:1:0] TsstCorp CD/DVDW SH-S182D SBO4 (E:) (ATA)

Unable To lock Volume for exclusive Access

Reason: Access Denied

Whats that about? please help me out i been tryin to test my newly modded 360 w/ this backup all day

If it makes any difference the backup is in .iso format e.g. backup.iso

Make sure there are no other applications runnning that would use the DVD Drive. I get a similar error in Vista if windows media player/center is open.

You have to have the layer break set. If there is a .dvd file, this contains the layerbreak info, there is no need for a special setting, use the latest ImgBurn, and choose the .dvd file to burn.

if you have just the image file, you have to set the layer manually as in the tutorial.

note you can now let Xboxcreator ( Tutorial: XBCreator & Imgburn ) call Imgburn for you with the appropriate parameters.

im using imgburn 2.2.0.0

and you're supposed to use the .000 image, but when I select it says "You should of selected the DVD File And not this one. I'll do it for you this time, but don't do it again!"

And it'll use the .dvd file :S

Plse Note that the Author of dvddecrypter released an updated version of his burning sfotware now called IMGBURN

Better is to let Xboxcreator ( Tutorial: XBCreator & Imgburn ) call Imgburn for you with the appropriate parameters.
