hello mates, a couple of day ago i posted a topic about if the xbox 360 dvd firmware could be modifyed so the xbox 360 could read games of any region, aparently this can not be achieved with the firmware hack, because of many reasons. Now I was thinking if there could be a way in which instead of modifying the console to do this, something could be done with the games, with the isos, i dont know maybe a way to put the security sector of ntsc to a pal game after modifying it in someway so a pal game could be transformed in a ntsc and can be recognized by the console. just wonder.

thank you

The regions are stored inside the xex files. We cannot alter these since they are signed.

The region cannot be changed as of yet , but there are several games that are region-free as is.
