Be warned. Failure to follow these rules may result in you losing posting privilages for upto a week, in some cases could result in a ban.

If you have changed or edited any of the skins xml files (adding date time, weather, changing buttons etc etc) do not report any bug that you have because lots of the skin needs other parts of the skin to function properly. We will not help you if you are using XMLs we did not create, think of it as VOIDING your warranty tongue.gif.

If you have modified your skins xml files then wipe the skin replace it with a fresh clean one and then see if the bug is still in there then report it

If you are having issues not documented in these forums, do a TOTAL CLEAN INSTALL of XBMC. You can keep your USERSETTINGS folder, but please remove all other folders and make sure you have downloaded a clean download of MC360 and all files have transfered succesfully.

For people upgrading who haven't done so for a long time, there is no longer a xboxmediacenter.xml in the home directory of XBMC. Please refer to the documentation which came with your build for new boot options, we recommend t3ch builds.

If you are experiencing issues still, completely wipe XBMC and MC360. Remove the entire APP, all saved data from any game save managers, remove the XBMC folder and remove any boot options you had on C:\ related to XBMC. Now reinstall an untampered fresh build. We only recommend you aborting your settings if you are having serious issues with the skin and we ALWAYS recommend you BACKUP your settings.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ THE README FILE THAT COMES WITH MC360!!!

YOU NEED THE VERY LATEST VERSION OF XBMC, THE MC360 DOWNLOAD ON THE SITE WILL ALWAYS WORK WITH THE LATEST BUILD OF XBMC UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED, IN WHICH CASE A FIX WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE ASAP.

Thank you for your time, continue posting.
