- Power via standard PC 4-pin molex
- Comes with its own power/eject cable, so you don't have to use the one in the Xbox360

Are there instructions posted somewhere?

What im unclear on, is does this allow you to set the Hitachi in modebe and just leave it in modeb. or do I actively have to switch something everytime I turn on my PC, if thats the case than whats the point.

try here ot have your questions answered in post #1

this kit can (and does) put your hitachi drive into modeb when power is applied to it.
it stays in modeb until its powered off

As opposed to the other items I've seen on the market with the same purpose this one looks to be the nicest.

I received mine this time last week (friday)

My mate sorted my TS drive using the adaptor, as he had done his the night before using the 360 to power the drive.

The switch nearest the molex controls the eject/close function of the tray and the other switch is for modeb/debug.

I didn't receive any instructions, but we just used it straight from the box with both switches in the "up" position

Didn't get chance to try the HDD adaptor, I've lent him the kit so he can unlock more drives.

He said it made it a lot easier.

(it's a bugger trying to take the top grill off the 360 uhh.gif )

can't play xbox 1 games on it though now sad.gif

Just what ive been waiting for from Team Xecuter....keep up the good work....Ive seen plently of similar products on the market (Except for the ODD adapter...ehh maybe one or two) but ive been holding out for you guys....all xecuter hardware ive gotten in the past (BTW alot of it....thank you for 'rockin my box' as you guys call it for the Xbox 1) from Team Xecuter has been high quality and i expect the same here ordering mine tommorrow (Im a college kid though in the USA if I go to the bar tommorrow though probably be a few days later) i cant wait to transfer all this shit off my 360 HDD to save some space also those xbox 1 savegames on my 360 HDD would be nice...thanks again guys...loyal customer/drunk XBL Gamertag: SneakySoulJAH

BTW xbox genius i love the 'Definition of Genius' title you get on the scene ill cheers to that hehe beerchug.gif beerchug.gif beerchug.gif beerchug.gif beerchug.gif beerchug.gif beerchug.gif alright maybe a few times smile.gif

If i only posted more i might have the 'Definition of Genius' title also, which ill admit im jealous of (I figure i might as well make insightful posts rather then some jibberish.....not saying anything about you, just in general about most the posts i see in a good portion of the forums) hehe.....love the site guys been following it daily FOR YEARS...keep up the good work

'Its a bugger' haha those crazy aussies LOL...gotta love em hehe
