Hi guys,

ok, i have my brother in the US at the moment and i'm not sure if i should get him to buy me some 360 games over there????

Will they play on my box here in Aus - i haven't worked out the exchange at the moment anyway, so i'm not sure if it's worth it.

Or can i get him to post me the games and as long as i rip them and insert the Aus SS file will all be cool???

Cheers
B

The security sector is tied to the game. For a U.S. game rip you uwould need a U.S. security sector.

Some games are region free. The ones that are not region free will not play in your box. Do a google search for "region free Xbox 360" and you will find the Wiki with the list.

I thought you can patch NTSC backups with PAL SS's, and vica-versa, to make them compatabile on your particular version of 360.
