My first question... my drive fails to open, and will not flash due to error "failed to stop the disc" Will the xecuter connectivity kit solve any of these problems? Will it be able to open the drive with the switch and will it possibly fix the error with its modeb support?

Second question... are all drives universal, regardless if you have an orig.bin? I do have my original firmware but it seems like the hacked firmware does not need an orig.bin to work and could work in any drive on any mobo. Am i right in thikning this? If i can't fix my original drive with the connectivity kit, i am going to buy a new drive. Thanks for any help.
