Hey guys, just wanted to say thanks alot to all the people who have made the firmware modifications, the people who made the tutorials so indepth.

Got my xbox360 wworking with backups, my setup is this.

SiL 3112 SATA PCI card
Slax Live CD
Hitachi drive
Verbatim 2.4x dl dvd+r

Was orginally gutted when i got the wrong pci card but thought fuck it, i've spent the money might as well test. all went well with the flashing (is this unusual cause didn't have any problems at all through the flashing process which i've now done twice). Then i tried to burn an image without applying a SS patch, i was a bit too eager and probably didn't read the tutorial properly.

Had a read around on this fantastic forum and realised that I had made a mistake.

Burnt my third game now and works great!

Have to do the HDD trick to boot but works everytime.

Anyway, thought i'd let you guys know that I was successful with this setup so i presume someone else would be too??

Thanks alot

Cardy
