im guessing since its such work in progress that it doesnt suipport 1.6 graphics yet...what happens is i get diagonal stripes across the screen...and when it boots up....i know the mouse works...cos i can click on icons (which i can sorta but barely see)..but i dont know exactly what im opening...just wondering if im doin something wrong...or its just not compatible yet

What are you talking about? Windows CE? xDSL with QEMU? Some other Linux-based Windows emulation?

ah sry...i assumed u know....windows on xbox forum....anyway...its windows CE...and i think its cos ce is trying to run in 800x600...is there any way i could change it to 640x480? cos it looks like when a monitor that has gone out of range when i start it up

The Windows CE port almost certainly does not support the Xcalibur video encoder from the 1.6 box correctly. You will have to add support to the source, there is no option that will fix this.
