I have a v1.0 xbox and the first gen X.B.I.T and lately I have been having a problem with it. After having my xbox turned off for a while (still plugged in) and turning it back on I have to reset the time on the clock. Is this a problem with the bios? or some battery internal to the xbox?

I am also having a problem where sometimes when turning the unit on with the mod chip enabled I get a weak sounding beep from the unit and then it frags and does this 2-3 times then the power light blinks. I keep trying and eventually it turns on. Any ideas?

Chip is probably loose. Re-align it and screw it down well, if that fails, solder it.
