I'm attempting to softmod a new hard drive for my existing softmodded x-box. I accidentally locked my new hard drive, with a password, that I know, but now I cannot unlock it. I have my eeprom, but I'm stuck on unlocking this drive. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm still a newbie at this stuff...

Thanks

*Bump*

Are there any tools that can help me figure out how to unlock this thing? When I run the unlock until now, it tells me that it successfully unlocked, but doesn't unlock the drive.

using DOS tools
you have to unlock it
then disable locking (2 steps)

The DOS utilities. I need to run the hdunlock tool, then the hddisable tool? Is that what you're meaning by the 2 steps? Does the disable tool keep the unlock in place or something?
