uhh.gif i have a laptop with a WLAN and can get a wireless signal, i also have a wireless router that i was using when i had my xbox. my question is can i get xbox live or streaming or anything without actually havin a modem or connection of my own? any way to do this? thanks uhh.gif

there are 2 ways of doing this.

1) get the Wireless adapter for the 360 its $90 or so.

2) connect your 360 to your laptop using a ethernet hub or switch with 2 normal ethernet cables (some people are lucky and just use a crossover cable between the xbox and PC, but it doesnt always work) and start internet connection sharing on your Wireless Connection

(If ICS complains that another computer is using ICS, then try bridging your wired and wireless connections)


Its that simple. Of course it wont be the greatest connection (like a wired one) but it should work fine.
