Ok here are some pics of what ive been up to so far! Btw, when I done the heat sink lapping they look better irl than in pics.... Nice and smooth. Not mirror finish though, I only had from 400, 800, 1000 and 1200 grit sand paper, maybe 2000 grit is needed for a proper mirror finish? I sanded wet btw. Anyways....

I still aint done the case yet.....so it could happen! But I dought it...lol

Btw I should of said it in my first post but better late than never! Thanks to ALL the guys that have answered my questions and linked me to guides and given me advice, and given their time up to explain things to me. My 360 isnt on the scale of "sweetness"(Is that even a word? lol) as some other 360's on here but I think it should come out pretty cool, Thanks guys! happy.gif

I positioned the cold cathold on the DVD drive that it "should" kinda shine up and to the right into the rest of the console to give me light. But with two neons and 2 60mm fans it should be bright enough. Also, my neons have sound activation! So you can have them on, off or put it on sound activation, which is basicly when you play music or w/e the neons will dance to the music! A dancing seXBox! tongue.gif

Man that's cool. The progress is coming along nicely. The only think I'd do different, if you'd like to know, is maybe try to cut down on how much black tape you can see. You will see the tape through that clear case of yours coming in the post soon. Maybe super glue or clear tape. But nice over all

Hmm well the only tape your going to see is on top of the DVD drive...but im going to frost the case with frosting spray so I dont think you will see it! But I will try and redo it now. Thanks mate smile.gif

u might want to take a dremel and a sanding wheel and sand down the plastics ast the end of each cold cathode by ur drive because it could flex the metal lie it did to mine and the ur hard drive is hard to get in and it takes forever to read
