Paint Issues, cracking help Options

so today i was working on my wip and i wa sputting a black and pink checkerboard on it and after spryin it it started to crack i left it be for now to dry over night but does anyone know what can cause these issues i also sprayed a clear coat on a test piece of plastic and noticed cracking issues in the clear covering horrifying i tell you horrifying any clues ideas?

It seems to me like your paint is drying too quick. Is it in a hot area?

it was fairly hot out but not all of it cracked only certain sections on the checkerboard grid idk whyhowever im terribly upset as to now i could have been done but now i mustwait to buy new paint and sand and paint and sand and repeat sigh

You should paint in a cooler area. Drying too quickly can cause the paint to stretch and crack. Either thats the problem or maybe...Is your paint old?

bout 2 weeks which i would assume is fine seeing as it probably sits in stores longer

krylon just stright up it says it goes on plastic and i had coats of black that are fine and shiny now its ruined due to the checkboard issue

im not gonna lie... that made me confused.. but then, i decided to pay attention.. and found it utterly hilarious.

p.s. im having buffalo chicken pizza drenched in tobasco + red pepper + loads of parmesan

I had the same problem painting the top of my hard drive casing. That was the most unlucky hard drive case I have had. 1st time I painted it a big gust of wind threw it to the ground and scraped it all. The Second time I was tired and made a build up. The third through to the fifth time I got dust specks on it. The final time the paint kept cracking in a few places. But I said fuck that I have wasted enough time, paint and most importantly money. So I cleared it and put it on my xbox. Problem solved... Until it pisses me off that is.
