Same as a PS2, no big deal..although aslong as we don't know how Micorsoft is going to fight back this firmware hack its kind of pointless to install a firmware chip when just reflashing the dvd chip does the same thing.

Its not that hard I am pretty sure you can do it xboxexpert (if you have done ps2's) but I don't think its worth it to do this since you need to cut a trace.. what if you want to remove it when/if there is a real modchip out ?

You would think that they could make a clip "like the dms4 E.Z.I" uses to fit over the chip.....but yea thats too many wires I might try the nme one....just to see what its about...lol..lol

this looks a lot harder then the PS2 all the PS2 Connections are larger you have more room + skipping pins. I think only on V3 PS2 has small Connections like this and thats like 4 pins. this would take few hours to do, the Samy one looks OK to do but it's still too much work.

my biggest problem installing a chip in my ps2 wasnt the points, it was the god damn dms 4 chip that i had to exchange 3 times before i got one that worked 100%. In any case, yeah knock on wood, but i dont see any reason for this chip at this point
