Is it possible in the game to actually be able to put in Spaceships you fly in space into one of the levels where your on foot? Would be an interesting fight.

I don't know, I've tried to do that on Mygeeto, fightertanks were swapped with Vwings on the republic, but they didn't appear. You may have to swap the vehicle in the rep.lvl rather than the mission.lvl. I'll look into it, it would make planetary battles much more interesting. Having a bomber would be a neat for bombing turrets or Heavy Assault Vehicles like ATTEs or ATATs.
