TOMMY DREAMER TO ECW FANS: "SORRY"
By: Bob Ryder
7/7/2006 4:45:52 PM

In a short message to "ALL ECW FANS", Tommy Dreamer has apologized for what he has "been seeing in ECW". The message, on ECW.com, says "I take it upon myself to apologize for what happened this week. I cannot truly express my feelings. I am angry, pissed off and totally frustrated about what I have been seeing in ECW. I need to sit back and digest all of this. If I write about what is in my head, my column will probably no longer exist. Sorry."

The message is written in all caps, and is signed "Innovator of Violence Tommy Dreamer".

perhaps he didnt like the extreme zombie? or the extreme bigshow or extreme kurt angle?
also according to 1wrestling.com Edge is exactly what ECW needs!

i cant help but think we are being worked here.. -_O

well.. you'd think.. that with everything that had going for them.. Vince could turn a ECW tv show into a money maker.

Dreamer, and a handfull of the oldschoolers are still around.

Heyman.. mastermind ECW booker

add to that.. the WWE deep pockets, TV connections, etc.. and you'd think they could make a successful run of it.

Instead.. they give us a sanitized TV show.. drop the belt to Edge (who btw is awesome.. and probably should be moved to ECW semi perm..) and then move/let Angle take a break.

The show is so weak.

Oh.. did I forget to mention the ridiculous SANDMAN matches..

jesus.

At this point.. let Eric Bischoff book ECW. He certaintly can't do any worse than Vince with his hand up Heyman's ass.

MAIN EVENT SET FOR ECW ON SCI FI
By: Bob Ryder
7/11/2006 12:03:35 AM

Big Show will face Ric Flair on ECW on Sci Fi Tuesday night.
The improbable matchup was made on RAW during a segment that
saw Big Show come to the ring with Paul Heyman during a Flair promo about Mick Foley.

BWAHAHAHAAH!!!

Big Show Vs Flair!! and they call it ECW!! laugh.gif

ahum.. lol

I HATE Edge. He is a puss, IMHO. He tries to emulate the Goldberg Spear. When Goldberg did it, he plowed through the guy. It looked like it really hurt. When Edge does it, he bounces off his opponent and it looks like it hurts him.

I do like you point about making him perm. ECW, though. Let him do what he does best...but stop using this power-move, and doing it badly.

And Vince is just too full of himself at this point. dry.gif

...and Vamp, no kidding!!! laugh.gif I love the Nature Boy, but come on!

That was a good read, i really hope that the whole world will now see what a fucking egomaniac Vince truely is.

and you know he will just blame sandman/sabu/dreamer etc when ecw fails, afterall..

"who remembered this little company anyway? it was foolish to try to ressurect it"

No.. when i want to see ECW in all its glory i'll play FirePro Wrestling D with an ECW pack or like you said, visit A.B.Pro-Wrestling.

QUOTE

In his latest site commentary, Lance Storm makes it clear that he's happy he turned down
WWE's offer of working in ECW and the sad state of affair on RAW where there seems to
be little wrestling these days. Below is a snippet on what Storm has to say on ECWL

"What can I say about ECW, other than Im really glad I turned down the contract they offered me.
I considered it very seriously when Dreamer contacted me early this year.
I loved my old ECW days and working with Tommy and Paul again had a lot of appeal.
In hindsight though this isnt ECW one more time, its WWECW a completely new entity
and more than anything else just a third WWE brand. This isnt to say it will be a bad brand
just not ECW like it once was. For those of you out there who like the new product
I propose you start the chant We-C-Dub so as not to destroy the legacy of the original E-C-DUB,
because this really has little to do with the Original product."

Well stated indeed, by both HSD and Storm.
Vamp, Vince is an egomaniac for sure. And the ongoing lack of a truly competitive promotion (TNA is trying, but...) is really killing us.
Let's hope Kevin Nash can stop diddling with the X division & kicks some ass. And, maybe TNA can get some ECW guys in there?

Good call...I would add Goldberg, but I'm a huge Goldberg fanboy, so I can't be considered reliable on that smile.gif
