I'm gonna flash my xbox360 drive (samsung) but I have some questions. I'm thinking of using Toshiba-Samsung_360_Auto_Flasher_v1.1.
Some tutorials say that I have to connect my xbox360 chassis to my pc chassis to provide it a path to true earth ground, yet some others don't mention it at all, is it necassary? I have a sis760 chipset -southbridge_sis964, I've read somewhere that sis964 is allready supported by mtkflash, if this is true do I still have to hexedit mtkflash? Sorry if these questions are all stupid, but i'm totaly lost so all help is welcome. Thx in advance! |

I dont know about the mk flash thing but I do know that you should connect the chassis of your pc to your 360 chassis with an alligator clip so you have a common ground.

Sorry I asumed this was a general newbie forum. I've posted it in the right forum, so this topic may be deleted.
