Sorry for the lack of updates recently guys... but as I do not have a garage and my spray 'booth' is the yard, I've not really had any days that were appropriate for spraying. It's been HOT HOT HOT, humid, wet, windy, oh and did I mention HOT! I'm trying to avoid orange peel and specs from the wind, but today it cooled down a bit, it was still windy, but I took my chances.
I was finally able to lay some white on the front middle wedge and black on the dvd tray:

After getting everything taped off:

I got outside and in my spray booth, with my high tech equipment (yeah, that's a stick

)... it just goes to show you, that with a little patience and work, McGyver style can be down right professional.

After a bit of white (as a base for the wedge as well), and a bit of red, my box is starting to look almost complete:

You may notice here, I had a boo-boo on the dvd faceplate

. Part of this is due to me getting rushed, and part of this is due to the heat/humidity which made the paint dry much much slower than it did previously. I am going to see if I can save this with some sandpaper, but I may just do this part of the plate again...
You can also see here that I decided to fill in the port numbers and the ports with black instead of red... this was a hard decision, and I am uncertain I like it, but we'll see what becomes of it...
