the problem is will someone do the port eventually if the donate's real?
well it all depends on how long DevGuy is willing to wait,
i'd say we give it two months and see what happens,
i'm mostly concerned that we get like 10 coders quickly porting the game and then they all want the bounty

we might have to set some guidelines before we get this whole bounty4AVPport thing started.
1 - DevGuy sends me half of the money via paypal
2 - I confirm that the money is real
3 - We set some guidelines on whats needed to get the bounty (1st one to code a good working port = win?)
4 - A coder ports avp and sends me the files.
5 - I test it (have both avp & avp gold here at my disposal)
6 - I confirm that its real and give the coder his bounty money
7 - DevGuy gives the coder the other half of the money
8 - Port is released on the usual places (with source!)
9 - Everybody happy
10 - Coder can then decide if he wants to keep working on the port or just leave it
and let people tinker with the finished ported sourcecode.
if #4 doesnt happen in a certain timespan (3 months?)
Then DevGuy can either ask for his money back or wait a little longer and we see what happens.
