Ok this is what I have found when using the xbox360... in the upright position it sratches DVDs, i have the Sammy DVD player.

I have 2 DVDs I have played in the drive in the upright position:

1. Fight Night 3 - Which is now non playable, scratched to f00k.
2. Harry Potter - Now im a little ashamed to admit but having this DVD, but heck who cares.

Another thing I found when running a Movie DVD in the upright position, it would stutter, ie there would latency between loading DVD data into cache i guess. Probably due to spinning issues of the DVD.

When I play the movie with the xbox horizontal it works fine.

But that doesnt help the fight night 3 DVD which is f00ked.

M$ may you burn muhaha.gif

Seriously though anyone else had the same issue? This, if widespread, is unacceptable, I mean feck I wanna have my lovely xbox360 vertical...
