So I originally had the Evox dash my main dash (I did not set this up just the way it came with the modchip install) after looking through all the options of other dashes but I seem to like XBMC better so I wanted to make my Xbox directly boot to XBMC and not Evox. So I followed the tutorial and renamed the shortcuts to evoxdash.ebe/evoxdash.cfg.

Everything was working great but then I noticed that I could not use the network in any way. Shares don’t work, ftp don’t work, and even the xlink doesn’t work.
The only solution I found was if I used my Evox boot disc and then launched XBMC all network related items work flawlessly

Is there something I failed to do?
Is this a known problem?
Any suggestions?

u have to go into settings/network and setup your ip .. the reason it works when loading evox first is it gets the info from evox ..
