Why not is all I can say..up until yesterday my 360 was working great. Needed the odd flick of the switch now and again but nothing major . But now Im stuffed. After using garyopas 1.3 ....so wish I had waited for Birdy's new release......... Why is the scene more concentrated on a quick boot method (stupid me included) rather than getting somthing out that helps us poor Hitachi owners when we get a bad flash?. Samsung owners have nothing to worry about .....if it all goes tits up they just make a bootable floopy and all is well if we do it then we are lookin at £80+ for a fix.(new drive) What would you preffer a wait for 20 or so seconds or buying a new drive as there is no fix...............just wish I didn't have so much beer last night......20 second wait is so much better than upto 3 weeks for a new drive....

Are you sure your drive is dead.? The new firmwares have a restore feature that restores your firmware to stock even without an original firmware. Did you try to fix it?

Will this work if you cannot get your drive into mode b?
If the FW is butched...isn't the routine to get into mode b within the FW itself? Please confirm.

Correct thats how I know my drive is F**ked
have u updated or changed your windows OS? if the drive is ejecting then it is not bricked. you just need to get it in mode b with the cross wire method and brute force the flash.

The drive will not open at all when its in the 360 and I press eject the light blinks once and thats it. When I do the cross wire trick it slick blinks like it should but It doesnt show up in bios ?

lol In that last few threads you have said (damn!) alot latley KUNFUCHOPSTICKS anyway. As said if it ejects it shouldn't be bricked but if it does not eject at all with either your comp or your 360 your fucked dude.
