I had paid for an item that the person says they are in the UK. I had never received the item. I have been emailing the person, no replies. What kind of action can I do? Im pretty sure police cant get involved because its international...paypal wasnt used.

The 1st thing that comes to mind is, why would you do that? The 2nd is what service did you use to purchase and which service did you use to pay?

i used alibaba.com to get the items.

a post office to send it and email to have an agreement that both partys will send once they receive. i looked up the money order and it was cashed...but no item was shipped. this was a month a go ...maybe longer

theres nothing you can do. you dont know his real name, his address, nothing about him. he could/most likely was using a fake name/address. thats how international scamming works.it sucks how much did you lose if you dont mind me asking?

Alright alright, fair enough. Look, as far as the money you already lost you are pretty much screwed, but you may be able to get some revenge, I recomend visiting www.thescambaiter.com and getting some help from them, who knows, it may be the legendary Cole! (Read the site, you'll know who I'm talking about).

As I said, out of things like this I personally never do anything with people overseas, as well as shipping costs shit like this happens. If you DO continue business actions with people in other countries I highly recomend the use of a known, reputable, escrow service.
