i have a v1.0 xbox and just installed the pin header , this means i have to remove the solder from the holes to get the pin header in . does this mean all of the holes or just the ones the pin header with slot into

Well you can get away with only doing the amount required by the matrix..But since your doing it you might aswell do all the holes, you never know what else may come out later and it will be easier than having to add more at a later date...

Yeh I know that's what he means !!! What I'm saying is that you can suck the solder out of either all the holes and fit the pin header in all the holes or just the ones required by the matrix as a PIN HEADER....Understand.. ie all 15 lpc holes and fit 15 pins of a 16 pin double row header, or 11 pins of a 12 pin header, or just the amount used by the matrix.. So what I said before was fit the full 16 pin header with the one pin removed coz the hole ain't there....
