I have a question that i did not see covered here (though may be a little off topic and though i did a therough yet quick skim of the forum / topic). I ran GOODN64 on my rom collection and had all my roms placed into to there corresponding directorys (i.e gooddump, bad dump, pd, ect. ect.) and all the other emulators seem to be able to work from sub directorys from the ROM's folder i thought that sureal would also. i placed all the corresponding folders (good dump, bad dump, ect., ect.) in to the ROM's folder and it either seems i am wrong or the .ini of surreal can only point to one sub directory at a time (i re-wrote the .ini to read as follows /F/Emulators/Surreal64xxx_b4.9/Roms/gooddump and it loaded the ROM's on the game select screen) is there any other way to keep my roms sorted and be able to browse them freely with out having to re do the .ini file every time?
should i just install all 3 emulators individually (i.e pj64) and point all the emulators to the same rom folder and run my ROM's on a trial and error basis (i.e if one dont run on pj64 exit pj64 and try it on the next emulator)? I am also curious of the advantages and dis advantages of this method. p.s. I have also tested this on sureal v1.0 and sureal xxxv1.9b and neither seem to support sub directorys. Also from what i have read only certin ROM's w/ certin names that are in the .ini files will run and i am aware that some of my collection may not run ( it is ok because i will be able to recover what ever those roms are from my xbox and play them on my pc......i think)
p.p.s i also posted this question in the sureral64 help tread and did not seem to get a replay there so i made my own thread reguardin my question i apologize if this counts as a dbl post or n e thing and thank you for reading my question rather u were able to help or not
