Well, is it possible to make something to let you see your XBL friend list in mc360 (and also if they are online etc.), that would be nice to have becouse I hate it to have to start a game or go to xbox.com to see if someone is online or not.

whats the point? , you will get banned if u got xbox live with a modded xbox, unless u have a modchip. if u had a modchip you could turn off, then that would be a pretty good idea.

Well if you turn your chip off you cant use homebrew "xbmc" but in the same fact you can use your pc thru a port and see whos online via a page or software so why couldnt you port that function to xbmc, just to see...... just a thought.

There is a system tray program for your computer that does this.

As far as xbmc, this sounds more like a script and not something that could be built into the skin.

i would have to disagree, if BB has it set that you can pull your xbox live user and account right into xbmc/mc360 why couldnt u pull more info, I.E. your friends?

they only way to get your friends list i am pretty sure is to log in with a linked .net passport and that would cause some problems for ms i am not quite sure but thats what i have to say

Its plausable but totally impractical.

The ammount of work that needs to be done JUST to show your friends list is not worth it.

Now if someone else coded a decent enough python script we could work it into the skin, but its not gonna happen as easy as just requesting it, its a very very big job, and the ammount of work it would take, out-weighs the actually benefit of the results.
