So I am at work and no chance of playing untill like 7pm tonight. I just wanted to see if anyone is playing Dead Rising right now and racking up the kills. How sweet is it?

hmmm- i think ill rent this one. prolly will get old after a few hours of gameplay.
looks fun, just don't know how long it will stay that way.
I like 99 knights better then dead rising i think. if im looking to buy a repetative game where you kill thousands upon thousands of enemies- it would prolly be 99 knights, but i will prolly rent both, then decide to get 1 or perhaps neither.

based purely on having played both the N3 and DR demos... DR owns N3 in the "killing everything in site" department.
Something about going to the toy store and putting on a giant legoman head then running through the mall dismembering zombies while blood splatters all ofer the giant smiling lego face is just hilarious

Does it come out today or tomorrow? I know it ships today, but some places dont carry it on the day it ships... I have to wait 2 more hours till GameStop opens up.

thats true, but it felt a LITTLE slow, with N3 i played it so hard i was sweating like a MJ in a playground. plus the riots are just phenomenal...i think im going to go play the demo now...

the gamespot review was good. the only bad thing was the gamesave structure. but everything, I mean everything can be used as a weapon. Throw some oil on the ground and watch the zombies slide around. you can even microwave food to make it more potent for you heath.

I love the demo.
Killing zombies has always been one of my fantasies (yeah I know it's a bit odd) and Dead Rising is the closest thing to the real thing so far. So many weapons, so many different ways of dismembering zombies, hell so many zombies at your mercy.
I love it....
I'll be calling my local EB in a few hours, hopefully the game is in today
