Yeah auto installers are crap! i don't know why people continue to use them.
If you can ftp don't use autoinstallers i'd start from scratch and ftp your apps and dashes over. then you will have more of an understanding of how things work |

If you're using a chipped xbox, simply use the AID disc to format your hard drive and reinstall the M$ dash 5960.
Afterwards, you can still use AID to FTP to your xbox and manually install everything you want. OR... Use AID to format your hdd & reinstall M$ dash 5960. Afterwards, install UnleashX (or any other dashboard to your hard drive) and use that dashboard to gain FTP access. This post has been edited by Alex548: Aug 15 2006, 02:42 AM |

If you want a step-by-step guide look for the closest 'SEARCH' bar.

They help many people who would otherwise not get there dash and apps on. people move at different paces and the Autoinstaller solves a hurdle for some people. The only problem occurs when people do not understand what to install and what not to install so simply throw everything on or select wrong options. |
