First, this . is a period. Learn to use it.
If you have your eeprom you can lock the drive in a PC. |

Did you backup your eeprom to your computer? You will need the eeprom to lock the hard drive. Try using xboxhdm. There are detailed tutorials on using it.

Did you run a back up utility on the Xbox to create the eeprom.bin file?
You are trying to use Xplorer360 in the PC to view the Xbox HD? Try looking through the partitions to find a backup folder or just look through them for the eeprom.bin file. It shouldn't be in the Udata or Tdata folders. |

Why did you run AID and Slayer's on your softmod?
You may have to build an eeprom reader. There is a simple design here for one, do a search. |

OK, after thinking about it, here is what you need to do.
Get Xplorer360. Hook your Xbox HD up to the PC. Make sure to connect it as master or slave as necessary for the cables. It will probably be easiest if you hook it up instead of your CD/DVD drive. Just look at what that one is set for and set the Xbox HD the same. In Xplorer360 you can browse the Xbox HD and find the eeprom.bin file. Drag it to the PC HD. While you are at it, drag the files from the C and E drives to the PC into a C and E folder. You will know which one is the E drive, it will have a Udata and Tdata folder. Get Xboxhdm, you will need it later to build a new drive and fix this one if anything happens again. Put the eeprom in the eeprom folder, build the CD and boot from it with the Xbox HD as your primary master. Go to option 3, type lockhd -a and it will lock it. Read the xboxhdm tutorial, it will explain all of this in detail. Next time use FTP to send the files to the Xbox. If it takes too long for you, do it while you are sleeping or at school. |
