Hi,
I posed this same question in hardware chat buy i guess it has about as much traffic as a morge. Anyway, I was wondering if I can use a usb hub either under linux or not.

what do u mean by hub?? multi ports or just 1 port

i have a single port in my xbox (controler port 2) but there are stores online (dont kno ne off the top of my head) that sell the dongles w/ USB capability (so its plug and play)
but i like the internal mods btr..

look around xbox-scene.com for sum tuts on usb, they are all pretty easy (if u kon how to solder), but in f ur just lookin 2 add a port id say buy the dongle online (10X less trouble)

People who aren't noobs know how to search for an answer to a really simple question.

You can use ANY usb hub, as long as you attatch it through the controller port.

I didn't say anything rude. I answered his question about usb hubs, and told him that the ability to solder in a chip does not an experienced modder make. I know in general what i'm doing, but I'm still a newb in some aspects.
