Has anyone used an X-Pert LPC mod-chip?
I am trying to programme it using a matrix-programmer.
I've created a cable to convert the matrix pin-out to the LPC pin-out (double checked the wires on the cable and they all make contact correctly).
But when I try to programme the chip I get an error. 'Unable to erase chip!'
I've tried both WinLPC and CheapMod-LPC-prog0.7 software.

I can take a dump of what's on the chip without any problem (It's a 256Kb file full of 0xFF).

Am I missing something? Can the matrix-programmer be used or do I need to get a programmer for the X-Pert LPC chip?
