Hi, I used to use Damn Small Linux on my Xbox and it worked really well. However, I upgraded to a new TV that is standard definition but uses component cables, as opposed to the S-video I used before. When I tried DSL through the component cables, the video was all garbled and linux became useless. However, I have use again for DSL on my Xbox and I was wondering if this issue has been fixed?

For XBMC and games, once you go to component, there is no going back, which is why I would even care in the first place. Oh, and please no one tell me the solution to my problem is to buy an HDTV, tongue.gif .

composite video won't work with a SD tv with linux. your best bet is to use s-video.
