All joking aside, I am paranoid to the point that I'm not jumping on live with my modded 360 until a couple weeks after this update. But come on people! The fall update is going to provide so many great things for the system. And given the choice between live and backups, live wins every time.

I would love it if the update came out this month.

So are they going to add anything worth getting? That Oct 18 downtime where they said they would have cool new features didn't seem to do much. I couldn't tell a difference between the 17th and the 19th. Hopefully they will add something that's actually worth waiting the 5 seconds for it to update

Something I was just wondering about...why doesn't X-S post up when individual games get updates/what the updates do? I downloaded the PDZ update whenever it came out a few days ago and found it pretty easily with google, seems like X-S could put things like that on here.

If you don't have live i am sure it can be updated from a disc.

its not going to matter if you use live or not the newer games will have the update on them anyways and you wont be able to play without updating.

I pre-ordered the HD DVD drive and paid it in full... can't wait for it (nor for the Fall Dash. Update)!!

well if people do get banned, I know a few (lot) or peeps that wont be getting the wireless headset since it will be useless
