i just read this atricle and it look like micosoft is now banning the modded 360 i am one for sure am not going to log on ever agian can anyone comfirm if it is true and they are banning the modded 360

That post at http://www.xboxic.com/news/1880 was just posted today..

I myself could care less about live, however I would like to find a way to connect from my house top a friends house with out the use of live. Any homebrew progs out that may accomplish this?

In any case, if this bullshit is true, the very worst case scenario is the future disks not being read or you 360 getting bricked. I dont see the latter taking place due to legal implications.

It would be nice if someone ef'n knew what they could do from a technical point.

On that note im going to simply say: SABRES OWN BOYZ AND GURLZ

Hmm, that's a cracking story........full of scaremongering tactics.

Like MS is gonna ban folks off live anyway? They're raking in too many subscriptions and by doing that they'll in effect make certain nobody who mods their box will ever spend any money on their market place!

I do think some detection will arrive, maybe on gears of war...........what ms decide to do about it is another thing altogether.

With the pro-longed PS3 release I cant see M$ having any quorms about the 360 scene (modding/fimware upgrades). They got their boots well dug in at the moment on the console front.

Lol, my 360 is unplugged, this is really getting me paranoid. Can anyone CONFIRM this fake or real? If this is real, could I just flash the original firmware back onto my drive and everything will be "A-Okay"?
