X-S Genius Group: Members Posts: 872 Joined: 25-June 05 Member No.: 229787 Xbox Version: unk 360 version: v1 (xenon)	Can someone tell me if the new update upscales DVDs to 720p and 1080i with the component cables. I believe it was spoken of a while back but I have not seen any information to confirm it.

The VGA connection is the only analog loophole MS has for upscaling DVD and even that is unlikely equal to the quality obtained with a good upscaling DVD player using a digital output.
