Got a fried xbox today, reboots 3x with no video and flashing blue and pink lights (red and green?) I can't tell. It looks like he attempted a tsop with a switch, but there are extra wires and etc. scattered I dont know why the hell they are there. Here are some pictures, and hopefully you guys know whats going on here.

Your pics are rather grainy.

Looks like he was tapping directly into the power supply for 5 or 12 volts (never seen this suggested in any of the TSOP switch tutorials).

What is going on with the hard drive there?

He may also have been tapping into the controller port to allow for powering on/off the Xbox from a modified controller.

There is much more then just a TSOP switch going on there.

I would suggest carefully removing everything that has been added to this thing and then powering up and see if that changes anything.

It's possible traces or components have been fried though.

Seeing as he changed out the power/eject ring LEDS he may also have been making port lights. That might for account for some of the wires.
