I have installed the bios X2 5035 which the guide I downloaded sugested, but the only thing that happens when I start with it is that I get the xecuter logo on the normal startup screen. After that my xbox starts with the original bios.
What did I dowrong? Please help.

Have you read the readme file?
Are you using the correct BIOS? (1.6 or not accordingly)
Have you placed the x2config.ini file on E?
Do you know what dashboard you are trying to launch?

It is the correct bios
The readme file doesn't say anything other than info about the bios features
Don't know how to get the x2config.ini file to E:
Barely know what a dashboard is. (Note that english isn't my main langugage, so it could be called something different here)

A dashboard is your central place to launch everything from...

Your xbox's green menu system is the Original Xbox Dashboard, and there are things like XBMC, AvaLaunch, Unleashed or even the now ancient Evoxdash...

These are how you launch all your games and homebrew.

So far as getting the file onto E, you can use the Ed@Chip program to get an FTP connection via your chip to get the file on there...

I have to empathize with GuldFish.. The documentation for setting up the X2-5035 is somewhat sparse and ambigious. I had to search thru several threads and glean info from many different sources before I realized the connection between the .bin and the .ini..

Granted my .bin file came from a roundabout source, so I might have missed anything that was provided with an actual release version.
