How do I know what kind of hard drive my 360 has? Samsung or Hitachi?

You're confused. HDD doesn't matter. Hitachi & Samsung are DVD drives.

You have to open up your case and it should say it on top of the drive.

God damn it, thats not true. all you need to do is hit your eject button. look at the tray and compare with picture on the net.

if your still trying to figure out what drive you have, i suggest doing LOTS of research because theres tons to learn
