I don't know if this would work or not since I myself don't have a 360 but I have an idea so people can get bigger hard drives to work on the XBox 360 without having to buy one from Microsoft. I saw somewhere on the net a tutorial for open the hdd case and taking out the hard drive. If you could follow that tutorial, go to Circuit City or something and but say a 80 Laptop hard drive and just swap it out. The only hard part I could see in this would be designing a tool that would format the hard drive so that the 360 would recognize it.

i dont think you can, i read sumwhere about the 360 drive having partitions that where currently unreadable by windows thus they havent found a way to clone those partitions to the new drive.
