Hello!

I've installed my Matrix modchip and I'm trying to boot an EvolutionX cd.

I'm almost certain that the chip is correctly installed (first a green light a split second, and then flashing red), but i can't boot from the cd. The brand on the cd-rw media is Verbatim, and I've tried to burn audio on the media and that works.

I have no idea why it's not working, and would be very happy if anyone can help me.

Bad connection. I had this trouble my first time. I resoildered, and it worked better but started doing it agian. Get a multi meter and check all the connections, you can get a cheap one for around 10$. If chip checks out look around the whole board, if you tried putting it back together, you might have hit a pin, or something.
