í saw everybody on the forum talking about wether there gta sa is version 1 or version 2.
it is also said that it is important, if you are to download saved games.
i would like to know how to find out wich version my gta is.
every help is appreciated

One way to tell what version of SA you have is by the size of the gta3.img (non modded) file in your "GTA San Andreas\models" directory.

San Andreas V1.0 gta3.img = 651.58MB
San Andreas Second Edition gta3.img = 650.47MB

also you can look at the saved files. v1 is 54540082 and v2 is 545400a3

What about 54540095? I dont have any clue why, but thats my save game path blink.gif

Also, I was wondering if anyone has figured out how to convert the version 2 gamesaves to version 1 and vise-versa yet.
Would be pretty cool if we could.
