i plan on getting live this friday my internet connection runs at 1.5mb download and 512kd upload, IS this quick enough to run live w/o any problems like lagging and if it is i would appreciate some help with coming up with a gamertag

Well you're going to lag. You could have a 100mb up and down connection and still lag. That's the beauty of online gaming, you're limited by the weakest link in the chain. With that said, your connection should be adequate for live.
