Hey there!
I was originally planning on doing more work on my baby, but with my recent hardware problems I've become pretty disheartened and lost interest.

It's not all too flashy... not compared to all the crazy stuff I've seen around here.
It's also got its fair share of flaws, like the yellow being messy like crap... Maybe I'll get around to fixing it.

Oh well, here are some pics, feel free to whine as much as you want.

Oh, and almost all of the painting was done with inspiration from BIMPtaculars tutorial... you can find it at http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?sho...hlight=corroded
So if you think that the paint looks messy... Well... that's the whole point

Crap, I didn't realize I'd get that red, annoying water stamp in the left corner until after I had uploaded the pictures. Picture-Desk is a small app for batch converting pics (they were all in absurd resolutions originally), Oh whatever tongue.gif

Here I realized that external fan = looks shitty, so I had to do something about that.

Finally, here are a few pics of how it eventually came out. I am so-so satisfied, but as my xbox is finally up and running again after a treatment with the hot air gun I don't wanna jinx it by opening it up yet again biggrin.gif

and most of the cover are B&W, i think i see what's going on. tut tut, shiver me timbers.

As I stated I've lost interest.
I realized that the black and yellow came out looking like crap the instant I was done.
Now that you people also think so I guess I'll have to redo the bezel and hdd.

Problem is I'm all out of paint.
Maybe I'll get some more blue and black.
Anyway... I'll try to figure something out.

I like the texture, makes it look used and abused.
