I have been having problems backing up Toca Race Driver 3. Whenever I run Flashfxp on it the files come up as:

Where as when I load up any other game I have they show up as:

I don't know how else to proceed with this game. Does anyone have any possible solutions for this?

Use DVD2XBOX first it should rename some of the files because they are over 25 characters long, once you have used it to copy the game to your hard drive, then re open Flash and find where the game was saved to (E drive) then copy that to your pc using Flash.

Aswell as this what DVD drive do you have if that doesn't help Samsung is the only DVD drive that I have found works perfectly with FlashFXPwhen making a direct copy form the DVD drive, if you have the tompson
or philips then you should use DVD2XBOX first before using flashFXP always

Hope this helps

Is DVD2XBOX a free program? If so where can I get it?

TOCA3 is somewhat problematic to backup. There is currently only 1 known way to make a 100% working backup.

(Finally) found the link:

http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=492703

yes, it's 23 pages. Read it. It will explain everything you need to know. Note that now that dvd2xbox has an ISO ripper, you should be able to use this instead of ISO ripper app. But I'm not sure if anyone tested it. If you do, please tell WiSo (current author of dvd2xbox) so he knows it works. He was interested to hear from anyone who had tried it.

This link should really be in the "Important Threads" sticky, under "Game Specific Backup". Mods?

In fact someone has paraphrased the 23 pages in to 1 simple tut:

http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=560094

Note that if you read the 23 page thread some ppl experience issues with certain dvd drives while ripping. It seems some just don't work.
