10.5 - 11 million wouldn't suprise me... microsoft is trying to pull out all the stops and get 360 at those checkout lines, although i wish they would add more codecs!!!!!!!!!

Gave my wife the warranty card for the first one (launch console)...she never mailed it with the check. It took a crap after ~6 mos.
Second one can not be warrantied/repaired by MS now, as I have had it open trying to figure out what is going on.

no offence, but it sounds a little like your fault on both occasions.......you could have got it repaired otherwise (and it would not have been counted as an extra sale)..... if anything MS deserve the extra 2 sales for having a great console that you would repeatedly pay for:P

i can say ive contributed to 6 sales.

launch console.
returned broke for new console.
that one broke, got a new console.
bought one to play with the FW hack on.

bought two to trade and sell.


so out of those 6, 3 are still in active duty, 2 are confirmed dead, and one MIA i sold on ebay

I don't understand why people don't shop at a store that has a good return policy. I have a friend that had a console from Jan 2006, he just took it back to Costco recently for a full refund, no questions asked.

cry so more. Not that many 360s break as most of you think...... Just one defect all PS3 fan boys tried to take advantage off. Also you need to realize that many 360s that you got are defective because of the gay manufacturer that couldn't keep up somehow. The chances that most of the break in the whole shipment are highly likely. I guess in some regions no 360s break, on some, just about every breaks. What you get in the truck usually comes straight from one manufacturer. You think they mix them up? rofl hell no. Why would they do that? It's inefficient.

I had my xbox replaced 4 times in the first 2 months of owning it...

Since that I haven't had any troubles (except with an occasional disc read error), but trust me some of us have had a bad run with faulty consoles.

I surprised to hear you guys had so many problems. I've never had a problem and don't know anyone who has had any problems.
