It looks like Microsoft updated the Backward Compatibility list today ... but took it back offline just a bit later. We're not sure why it got delayed (or why it was put online early) ... but here are the new BC titles you can expect to work soon ;)

* NEW titles: New Games: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dead Or Alive Ultimate, Destroy All Humans!, Dynasty Warriors 4 / Shin Sangokumuso3, Evil Dead: A Fistful of Boomstick, Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy, Family Guy, Far Cry: Instincts, Incredibles/ Mr. Incredible, I-Ninja, Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude, Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, MotoGP, Open Season, Pariah, Psychonauts, Rainbow Six: Lockdown, Rapala Pro Fishing, Scarface, Shark Tale, Shenmue II, Splinter Cell: Double Agent, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, Ultimate Spider-Man, Wakeboarding Unleashed: Featuring Sean Murray, Whacked!, Winback 2: Project Poseidon, Xiaolin Showdown

UPDATE: Joystiq contacted Microsoft asking why the updated list was quickly removed:

When are the gonna fix fusion frenzy??

That is the greatest party game for xbox and they just have ignored the fact that it runs slow as hell.

Still no Nascar on there. It is the only game that my younger brother plays. He has to hook up the old POS to get it to work.

I hope Microsoft gets smacked hard for being so slow at this..
