My ps2 needs more than a minute to discover the type of media...even originals (It keeps telling me "checking disc" ?
When he sees the type finally everythig works fine, no strange noises or long loading times.
Anyone knows this problem ? It makes me go crazy ! mad.gif

I haven't had that problem. Maybe the lens is dirty, you'd be surprised at the amount of crap you find inside any equipment after a while.
