I hope you can help me, I originally sent my 360 w/ sammy MS25 out to be flashed since I didn't want the headachs. Now I would like to go from 3.3 to 5.0b but I can't get the sh%t to work! I prepared the .bin and hooked up the drive to my PC (chipset is nforce 410) and yes I have the right mtkflash. But when I try to flash it doesn't work. If I use the enable0800 DVD I get better results but still no flash....it gives me 3 options, 1 IDE master/slave, 2 nvidia3 master/slave & 3 nvidia3 master/slave. No matter which one I choose it doesn't work...I get "port 970 oB" and it just hangs there or I get an error message saying mtkflash.typ not exsist? any help would be great!

Its probably caused by the firmgaurd and the enable800 iso not being burned to a dual layer disk, if its not that then turn everything off and then put the enable800 disk into the 360 to deactivate the firmgaurd. Just to be safe keep it in there for like 30 seconds and then try flashing or whatever.

3.3 does not need the enable0800 disc so no point in trying that.

Your best bet is to disconnect all IDE devices so that it can only detect the sata card and to make sure ntkflash is edited properly.

Don't know what firmguard even is, and I did burn the enable 0800 to a Verb DL DVD.

Got the job done with Extreme Boot Maker, finally after months of failure I found something that works and is easy to use! Thanks to the scene for all the help, if this site wasn't here I would not have found the solution to my problem.
