The Wii lost out because "it can't even play DVD movies". Gee, who would have guessed that a non-interactive movie viewing experience would rate so highly for a
video gaming console. The PS3 has been critisized repeatedly for having inferior versions of the same games, no real decent games aside from Resistance, too high a price, too few available consoles, a cheap feeling controller (with faulty tilt sensing), and too many buggy games amongst other complaints, with many of these complaints coming from IGN itself.

Proof positive: You can't spell ignorant without IGN.

You can
also spell "money grubbing sellouts" with IGN, if you don't mind the letters being out of order. And IGN sure don't seem to mind.
To be fair, there's no reason why the PS3 can't get a decent library with plenty of must own games, including titles which can't be done on any other console. But that's true of most consoles, and the PS3 hasn't attained it
this year.
