It was between PS3 and Wii ... and it looks like the PS3 won (for IGN).

As far as I'm concerned, the Wii is the system generating the most buzz among consumers. The PS3, if anything, is the lone one out without any real strong points. The Wii has it's innovative gameplay model, and the 360 has an absolutely spectacular online model. The PS3 has small copies of each, coming across as gimmicky.

The one word Sony has used to constantly attack the other consoles.

The Wii lost out because "it can't even play DVD movies". Gee, who would have guessed that a non-interactive movie viewing experience would rate so highly for a video gaming console. The PS3 has been critisized repeatedly for having inferior versions of the same games, no real decent games aside from Resistance, too high a price, too few available consoles, a cheap feeling controller (with faulty tilt sensing), and too many buggy games amongst other complaints, with many of these complaints coming from IGN itself.

Proof positive: You can't spell ignorant without IGN.

You can also spell "money grubbing sellouts" with IGN, if you don't mind the letters being out of order. And IGN sure don't seem to mind.

To be fair, there's no reason why the PS3 can't get a decent library with plenty of must own games, including titles which can't be done on any other console. But that's true of most consoles, and the PS3 hasn't attained it this year.

I bet that Sony Bravia cant even display 1080p over VGA so its no good for 360 owners who wanna watch HD-DVDs in their true state, witch they didnt even mention. Im sure there were better Tvs this year.
